Dragon Fly

Dragon Fly is an archival pigment print printed on museum quality 100% cotton rag paper with a matte finish. The image is made from a Polaroid print of an original 35mm transparency. Using a Vivitar Slide Projector, I exposed the original transparency onto Polaroid 669 Film. I then scanned the Polaroid to produce a digital file to create the editions of this image. I enjoy the raw feeling of these images that is brought about by the process of exposing the transparency onto Poloroid which softens the image & gives it a painterly effect. This soft graininess of the image adds an ethereal quality to the image. My limited edition prints come signed on the front with a signed certificate of authenticity.
